Route 70 – Glendale/24th Street is operating on half hour to hour frequencies to the stadium area. Route 60 – Bethany Home is not operating due to limited resources with the current bus strike.

Bus service will be available at the end of the game (through 11:50 p.m.), traveling on Glendale and Bethany Home Roads, to the 19th Ave/Montebello Transit Center. Light rail service will match the extended bus service.

Visitors of the Championship Campus presented by Ak-Chin Indian Community & the College Football Playoff National Championship:

  • Light rail service in downtown Phoenix will be enhanced to serve the Championship Campus January 8-10, 2016.
  • Additional bus service will be provided in Glendale on game day.
  • 15 rail park-and-rides will provide greater parking options.
  • Light rail will offer three-car trains and additional frequency when major events break. Boarding and de-boarding in downtown Phoenix will be limited to particular stations.
  • The PHX Sky Train® at Sky Harbor International Airport connects to Valley Metro Rail at the 44th St/Washington station.
  • Board a “westbound” train for Phoenix; an “eastbound” train for Tempe and Mesa.

Valley Metro encourages passengers to have a game-time strategy:

  • Make the most of your transit trips by purchasing an All-day pass for $4.
  • Allow extra time to get to your destination. Many other fans will be joining you on your transit trip.
  • Pack light – security will be tight. Avoid bringing coolers and/or other large items on bus or rail.
  • Keep an eye out for suspicious activity. If you see something, say something to a security officer, operations supervisor and/or staff volunteer.
